Decorating the Tree

Of course we had to decorate the tree after we got it up. Noah helped with the lights and supervision.

Isaac and Curtis were great helpers they didn't stop until all the ornaments were on the tree. Curtis then went around the tree and moving any that were too close to each other. It was lots of fun to watch and see them excited about it all. Of course there was lots of ornament on the bottom half of the tree. As they fell off I would move them up higher
The final outcome

Earlier in November our ward had a pinewood derby. It was open class so anything went and everybody could participate. Noah came up with this great idea to have a rubber-band powered car. We ended up doing it last minute (less than 2 days). We were a little late getting to the church but they still let us join in. We won the first race but Noah could see the wheels needed more traction or more weight. He found a big rock and taped it on top of the car. That was all it needed and we ended up winning 1st place. Russell can hardly wait to be a scout to race his own pinewood derby. Hopefully Noah does just as well when he has to abide by the rules.
