Visit to see our friends

Our friends are moving to Utah so we went to Portland to see them one last time before they moved. Our kids always have so much fun together and so do we. This time we went and helped them pack, or at least tried.
Jessa and Rachel - about 1 1/2 months apart
the boys crowded around the computer
All the boys- James, Russell, Jace, Curtis, Jarom, Jonathan, Isaac
Isaac didn't want to particpate too well. They were lined up in age order. He should be in between Jarom and Jonathan.

We are going to miss you guys!

Mariah

We were lucky enough to have Mariah come stay with us for the month of July. She was a great help with the kids especially taking them outside for bike rides or to the park. We also made a skirt with her and did some cooking. She made some friends while she was here as well. Thanks for coming Mariah and being part of our family for awhile.

Rachel is 2 months

Rachel went to the doctor 3 days before her actual 2 month day. She had to get shots which was no fun but she did well with it. She is my biggest baby so far.
At 2 months she:
weighs 13lb 2 oz
24 1/2 in long
starting to coo when she is talked to
sleeps until 5 am (I love that)
loves to be held
likes to be talked to

Curtis turns 6

Curtis turned 6  this year and had his birthday all planned out. He wanted a snake cake and his cousins and neighbors to come over for cake and ice cream. It was a fun day.

Neda'a wedding

On July ( Neda and David got married. We had lots of fun taking pictures at the temple and dancing at the reception and of course decorating the car. Mariah got to stay the whole month of July with us and she was the photograph for our family at the wedding. She did a great job!

July 4th

We went to the Harrisburg 4th of July parade and fireworks. It was a hot day but lots of fun. It was the first time we had made it to the Harrisburg fireworks. We were very impressed now we need to find where the best spot is to watch them.

One big day

July 2nd was a busy day at our house. Russell was baptized and then afterwards we blessed Rachel and had a BBQ at our house.

The 2 special people on this day.

It was Gavin's actually birthday so we had a birthday party as well. It was a wonderful family with lots of family love around. Thanks for everyone who came and shared this special day with us.

Family in July

July was a busy month for us. Grandma, Grandpa, Mariah, Savannah, and Laryssa came to visit for Russell's baptism and Rachel's baby blessing.

A trip to the coast, of course.

The octopus was really moving. It was fun to watch.

Of course we had to play in the water and sand.

Thanks for coming everyone. We had so much fun and we are always sad when everyone has to go home. We also celebrated the 4th of July- watched the parade and fireworks. FUN FUN FUN

Russell turns 8

Russell wanted an A+ cake for his birthday because he is smart and likes A+es. He played with his friends and they even got to stay for birthday cake and ice cream. It was fun. Now he is ready to be baptized.
