wind storm

On sunday March 13, we had a crazy storm. We were at Dovie's house when it came through. The wind was blowing so hard that the rain was coming down sideways. We lost power for about 3 or 4 hours but it came back on before it got dark which is nice. There were lots of power lines down every where and many people had trees come crashing down on their house or driveways. Luckily we don't have any big trees by our house so we were ok. Half of the town of Junction City was without power for more than 24 hours. It is times like these that we remember how important it is to have a 24 hour kit and water. I am glad we had power when we got home.

There was at least 3 power poles on the ground maybe even 4.

The wind just snapped the top off the top of the poles.
