Update

Russell went to the orthopedic doctor today. His bones had moved a little from where they were last wednesday night which wasn't good. The doctor said that his right arm will be okay and it will adjust just fine. His left arm in boderline. If it moves any more than they will have to reset his arm again. We got to see the all the x-rays taken thus far and that was kinda neat. He only broke one bone in his right arm but it was pretty good. The right arm got a regular cast on it. The left arm was wrapped over his previous plaster cast with the ace wrap bandage and all. They didn't want to move the arm any more than necessary so they wouldn't have to reset it. We go back on friday and see if all is well and if so they will remove the plaster/ fiberglass cast and put on only a fiberglass cast. Russell can't wait to go back to school and since tomorrow is only 1/2 a day it will be perfect for his first day back. We had to laugh at Russell he was so excited to have a beaver and a duck cast but when it came down to it he picked a glow in the dark and blue. I guess it is never too late to change your mind.

  1. Russell you are such a brave boy. You really need a trampoline to get better practice and some adventure on flips. I hope your teacher and classmates are good to you on all the struggles you will have at school, at lunch, at recess, and in the bathroom. We pray for a speedy recovery. By the ways, those 3 boys sure do look cute sitting there together.
