April part 2

Ashley, Jolene, and Logan came to visit during their spring break so we went to the zoo.

Watching the sea lion is always a favorite with the kids. Even Rachel liked watching it.

The Lorakeets are fun if you get there before they are full. All the kids got one to land on them and drink some nectar out of their cup. They boys wanted to go back and do this again.

Rachel getting big

We launched Noah's rocket and everyone loved it. We went to the Williams house to launch it out by the fields. It started raining on us but still lots of fun.

The boys made a fort and of course they wanted to sleep in it.

It was nice outside so we took some pictures of Rachel with the landscape.

Curtis and Isaac did some painting and wanted to hang up their art work.

Russell got academic student in his class.

Russell and his dad did a great job on the pinewood derby because they won first place. Russell also got his wolf badge that night.

We went to Grammy's house and saw the ponies and visit Suzy and Marcus' family.

Isaac learned to ride his bike. He was very determined to ride it by himself. He basically got one and started riding away. He had a hard time turning around but once realized he wasn't going to fall over he has been amazing. He has lots of determination.

For Mother's day Russell made me breakfast in bed but then all his brothers wanted it also. So he helped make them breakfast as well and then joined them in bed. Such a good boy!

Rachel likes to crawl inside this drawer. I have to take her out of it almost every day.

The boys were playing in the sand box and found some ants so they were trying to drown them out with water and of course got a little muddy.

April part 1

 Curtis did a little mini class on tae kwon do and of course he loved it.

 The community Easter egg hunt. It is always lots of fun and the kids get lots of eggs.

 We died eggs and we created some creatures with them. It was fun.

We had an Easter dinner at our house. We had an Easter egg hunt outside with one special egg from Neda saying she was expecting. We couldn't ask for a better Easter day.

March 2012

Rachel 10 months

We got a crazy snow storm we had. Over 6 inches of snow. It was lots of fun to play in as well.

Rachel was feeling left out so we bundled her up and took her out. Isaac didn't want to miss out on a photo opportunity and I am happy to let him be in any picture since last year he never wanted his picture taken.

Grammy's pony had a baby. What a surprise bonus. They didn't know that when she was bought.

Curtis' tooth is so loose but he won't let us pull it out. He has a nice scratch on his eye from Isaac

That night Curtis let Russell tie a piece of floss around his tooth and then to a sand timer. Russell then took the timer and threw it down the stairs along with Curtis' tooth. They were both excited about it.

 Noah went to Montreal Canada for a conference. He had a great time while he was there.

Feburary

Russell played basketball this year. It was a 3rd/4th grade team combined. He did really well and he was fun to watch.

Rachel is so fun to watch what she can do with her tongue. She loves to stick it out and it curls at the end. Looks like a snake tongue.

Isaac took his cup and sucked it against his lips. He has so proud of how well he could hold it there. Now he has a nice hickey around his mouth.

Isaac has been going to preschool. It is out our house or our friends house. He made a volcano at the friends house and had to come home and show me how to do it. We had lots of fun and decided to add color to ours

We celebrated Grammy's and Noah's birthday together. We had lots of fun. Noah can't wait to fly his new rocket.

January 2012

We got a little bit of snow. Just enough for the boys to play and build a one snow ball snowman. They didn't mind as long as they got to play in the snow.

We went bowling for a family night activity. It was lots of fun to  play. Russell has been practicing on the wii and it payed off. He ended up with the highest score out of everyone. I was very impressed and yes we were really trying to beat him.

It was always interesting when Isaac bowled. We never knew how it was going to make it down to the other end. We will be doing this activity again.

Rachel is getting so big. She loves to clap when she sees us clapping.

We had a lot of rain come down and the drain in our street was plugged and it made for a very big puddle. They even put signs up on the road. The boys didn't mind that is was cold and windy outside they still went out to play in their sandals and the cold rain.
